Review on MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick

Festive season is arriving soon and I bet every girl would have start shopping by now. Isn’t is girls…??

We just need a reason to shop coz we are always ready for it. When it comes to festival shopping, our list starts with outfit, footwear, accessories and of course makeup. And the 1^st thing that comes in makeup list is lipstick.

Lipstick is like our best friends without which we can’t even think of celebrating festivals. And if it is a red lipstick then it’s like cherry on cake.

So considering all these factors, I decided to do a review on my fav red lipstick so that it becomes easy for you guys to decide on what you want to buy.

So let’s directly jump into it.

Product Description:

I hope everyone knows about MUA makeup brand. They deal in giving us wide range of makeup products that has standard quality in pocket friendly rates.

MUA lipsticks are very popular. It has fairly moisturizing formula. They have 16 shades to choose from varying from red to pink to nudes. The shade I have is Vintage Rouge which is red in color. It is perfect for any festival look or party look. Will suit Indian skin tones very nicely.

Price and Quantity:

This lipstick is priced at Rs.495 for 3.8g.  (Currently many deals are live on this product at flipkart, nykaa etc.)

Texture:

It has very soft and creamy texture. Glides on easily to give a glossy finish. Even one single stroke imparts nice color to lips. It is very easy to apply and it doesn’t makes lips go dry.

Directions of Usage:

Use it just like you use any other lipstick.

First use a lip liner to make the boundary lines. Then use this lipstick to color complete lips starting from upper lips to lower lips.

Apply double coat if you want to go bold else single coat is enough to get bright red shade.

Packaging:

It has a very simple and sleek packaging. It comes in black colored plastic case with a screw-able transparent pot at the bottom to show the shade.  Cap is quite sturdy which prevents it from breaking.

It can be easily carried in any handbag and is travel friendly.

Pros of MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick:

Cons of MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick:

      

             1)      Transfers easily.

             2)      Doesn’t have long staying power. Starts fading in 2-3 hours.

My experience with MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick:

I have already mentioned in the starting itself that it one of my fav lipstick.

When it comes to getting ready for festivals or parties, I mostly pick up this as it gives the perfect red shade that any girl desires for.

It is so creamy, that it glides on easily and gives a nice glossy effect. It doesn’t makes my lips go dry rather make it look very smooth and shining.

Only problem with this is that if I eat anything, it start coming out in the culinary. So if I am wearing this, I make sure after eating, I re-apply the lipstick to keep my look intact.

I totally love this and I am really looking forward to try some more of the shades from this range.

Ratings:

I would rate this lipstick as 3.5 out of 5.

It is a great lipstick for beginners. If it had little more longevity and was transfer proof I would have rated it as 5 out 5. 

In spite of this, I love this lipstick and I recommend you guys too to try out this lipstick.
